What a tragic event that happened in the month of May 2020 that caused a massive shift globally. During these critical times, the world has been faced with a challenge to change. There is a loud cry for “I Can’t Breathe” It’s a cry of our souls in spite of the color of our skin, race, or ethnicity. I understand this violent act was done in the root of racism but there is a deeper level of pain that has been express collectively.
I truly agree that act was wrong but I also understand that there is an inner calling for a world-wide transformation. We as black Americans have been fighting for our rights over many years but many of us have yet to fight the battle within ourselves. It’s time to go beyond the color our skin to look within ourselves to connect to the greater power within us that is colorless.
I know that justice will be served but the really question is Would we serve the justice within us? Let go of the struggle of our soul and embrace peace, balance, love, joy and happiness internally so we can here the voice that says“I Can Now Breathe”
